Our machinery sheds
We all know that farm machinery is some of the most valuable assets on the balance sheet. The hard part about owning this gear is being able to maintain it over the years so it holds its value for later resale. The depreciation on this gear will be exponential IF it’s all sitting out in the weather. Therefore, we think the investment of a BIG STEEL machinery shed, to protect these assets, is a no-brainer!
We know that housing machinery can sometimes be more complicated than it appears. Particularly in broad-acre cropping operations—there is always one or two implements, like air-seeders sprayers that are higher or wider than your other gear but need to be accounted for. For this reason, we can offer double bay openings like the one seen in the photo below.
Another big part of housing machinery is having a reliable space to lock up and do maintenance jobs. A popular way to achieve this is to section off two or three bays at one end of the shed by installing an internal wall and some sliding doors. This now becomes a very secure and functional workshop area so you can lock up any valuables and have a nice dry area for mechanical work during wet weather.
